1st Phase of EDC launched at Peren Govt. College on 30th September, 2022
The first phase of Entrepreneurship Development Centre [EDC] was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner of Peren Vineet Kumar, at Peren Government College. Head coordinator for Entrepreneurship Development Centre [EDC], ESB, Atsung Sangtam stated that the DC in his address encouraged students to maximize the opportunity and learn about business through the entrepreneurship development program.
K. Francis Hekavi from the department of industries &commerce highlighted the start-up Nagaland policy and mentioned that EDCs will create an enabling environment for entrepreneurs and start-ups to grow and also know more about various schemes of government and their supports for entrepreneurs such as PMEGP and start india incentives.
Kangzang Zeliang ,founder &strategist BCSS construction& solutions , Zeliang code Tech pvt Ltd ,who is an alumni of peren Govt college shared his journey and reminded the gathering that commitment ,discipline and focus is required to keep moving up the ladder steadily.
Lezo Putsure ,founder of Educentre school of business said Kangzang as a role models for the aspiring entrepreneurs of Peren districts .He spoke on how the program will build job creators whilst sharing the road map of entreprenuership programme .
The welcome address was done by Principals Government Colleges Peren , Dr.A.Nshoga ,vote of thanks by ADC Peren , Keyirangding Hegui. EDC in colleges is an initiation of start-up Nagaland and implemented by Educentre Schools of Business.
The EDC in colleges has been supported by IDAN.

WHAT EDC STUDENTS ARE SAYING
The third session of the EDC class which was held on 12th and 13th of April was indeed a productive one. As we have learnt new things from a business point of view and not only focusing on formal classes but also making a field visit to the Floriculture farm Ngurie at Jalukie Town and learnt more things about Bio Enhancer. The second day experience was on digital marketing, was also indeed a new stand point for the EDC students in the process of learning more on the advanced ways of marketing through the social platform.
Special thanks to Educentre School of Business. I feel so lucky to be a part of EDC program. Through this program, I learned how to turn my ideas into a profitable business venture. It really motivates me to push forward and to think beyond. I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to start or grow a successful
The experience of being in EDC is much helpful especially for business startup. It gives the ideas and methods on how to start our business also to increase the employment rate in our society.The experience made me realize the importance of hard work. I also experience the value of time and energy.Through EDC, I’m learning many new things and experience it practically. Thanks to EDC team for giving us this golden opportunity.
I thank the Enterpreneurship Development Centre (EDC) and the founder of Ngurie and Kendeu Coaching Centre (CEO Peihauding) for his support in bringing the idea of enterpreneur in the minds of EDC students.The field trip to Ngurie and Kendeu Coaching Centre gave me the accurate answer about the floriculture, business plan and how to live a life as an entrepreneur through his testimonial speech and experiences.I also thank ESB and Peren Govt.
