The Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) conducted a two-day session at St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama on 17th and 19th September 2024.
Day 1 focused on introducing the participants to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. An ice-breaking activity was conducted to foster interaction and teamwork among the students. The session then transitioned into identifying real-world problems that could be addressed through entrepreneurial ventures, encouraging students to think critically about the challenges faced in their communities.
Day 2 delved into identifying opportunities and assessing the market for potential business ideas. Another ice-breaking activity helped build collaboration within the group, followed by the division of students into teams.
Each group was tasked with exploring various business concepts. To conclude, an assignment on idea generation was given, with each group expected to come prepared with potential solutions and innovative business ideas for the next session.
